Results day important for Loreto College community

Olivia Callaghan, principal of Loreto College, Mullingar, told the Westmeath Examiner on Friday that it “is a very important one, as our Leaving Certs of 2025 come in to collect the results”.

“We were able to get them on the portal at 10 o’clock this morning, but we invited everyone in because it’s nice to get together in the school here – you can hear the noise in the background of all the students coming in, and they’re all very happy with the results.

“I had a brief glance over them and we are delighted. People really did fulfill their full potential and their hard work from the beginning has paid off.

“I know they all await that their offers next week, so I hope that they all get what they want. Our guidance team are on hand here in the school if anybody needs any backup advice or needs to know anything else about the next step, but really they worked hard and they got what they wanted, and we’re delighted.

“We have two students who achieved the full H1s, so we’re delighted with that, but equally we’re delighted with all our students who worked very hard and for some you know to gain what is a really good results for them we’re equally delighted with that.”
