There were smiles all round in Mercy Secondary School Kilbeggan last Friday as students received their Leaving Certificate results.
Deputy principal Bernadette Gallen praised the students for their academic success and the values they embodied throughout their time at the school. “We are delighted for all our students,” she said. “They worked hard and reaped the rewards today. We are proud of their fantastic academic achievements and also of the dignity and friendship they showed each other over the last six years.
“We are sending young people into the world who we know will make a difference in the world and in their communities. Each of our young people today has a different goal in life and today with their outstanding Leaving Cert results in their hands they are one step closer to realising those dreams.”
The results mark the culmination of years of effort by students, staff, and parents, and the school is celebrating a year of truly remarkable achievement.
