Welcome home... CMAT posing with the mural painted in her home town of Dunboyne.

CMAT comes home to reveal new mural in Meath home town on the day of album release

Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson, better known as pop star CMAT, returned to the place she grew up today to reveal a stunning mural in the middle of Dunboyne, County Meath.

The singer arrived in a blue t-shirt that read 'Dunboyne's Diana' and spent the best part of an hour greeting local fans and families.

The singer's third studio album 'EURO-COUNTRY' was released today and the singer stayed loyal to her roots by spending the evening in the place she calls home.

Speaking to The Meath Chronicle, CMAT said: 'Seeing the mural today was insane. It's definitely not a normal feeling, seeing your face painted on a wall in your home town. It's the craziest day of my life.''

The mural is painted on the side of Ardu Speciality Coffee in the centre of the town.
