Ballymore 'Drive For Life' takes place in aid of Pieta House

Ballymore was treated to a sight of tractors and vintage vehicles last Sunday, August 31, for the Ballymore Drive For Life Tractor Run in aid of Pieta House.

This was the group's first tractor run in aid of Pieta House, and despite the weather affecting much of Westmeath, Ballymore remained dry for the run.

Speaking before the event, Ballymore resident and member of the Drive For Life team said: “Pieta House means so much to a lot of us. So we wanted to try and bring the community together."

The race started at 2pm and featured a range of different tractors, flags, a JCB, a Krone combine harvester, and vintage tractors.

The event was a success and looks to be a regular fixture during Ballymore summers.
