Fire occurs in Fair Green area of Mullingar

Westmeath Fire and Rescue Service, along with gardaí, attended the scene of a fire in the Fair Green area of Mullingar on Sunday evening, September 7.

The fire occurred around 11pm, and gardaí are still trying to establish the cause of the fire, but foul play is not suspected.

In response to a query by the Westmeath Examiner, a statement from the Garda Press Office said: “Gardaí assisted emergency services at the scene of a fire outside a residence in Fair Green, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath that occurred shortly before 11pm on Sunday 7 September 2025.

“No injuries were reported.”
