Mullingar Literary Festival to launch 2026 programme on Culture Night

The Mullingar Literary Festival will launch its 2026 programme on Culture Night at 7pm in Caffrey’s Bar, Mount Street.

The evening will feature a performance by the Inklings Creative Writing Group, who will present a series of original works inspired by some of the world’s most famous paintings.

The performance promises to blend literature and visual art in a unique and captivating way, offering audiences a fresh take on storytelling and interpretation.
