Find out what it's like to have dementia - virtual experience to visit Market Square tomorrow
Dovida are working with a company called Training2Care who deliver a virtual dementia experience, which will be at the Market Square in Mullingar tomorrow, Thursday September 25.
A specially adapted vehicle will allow people to experience what it is like to have dementia.
Mullingar Chamber will also have an input for the events of the day.
September is World Alzheimer’s Month, and the two local teams are aiming to raise awareness.
The event will run from about 10am to 4pm. The trial takes about 15-20 minutes.
