There is always a lot going on in the area and folks will be delighted that their favourite classes are all resuming, and some new challenges are on offer, for example woodworking. Multyfarnham Community Centre is a busy venue.
Pilates is on Monday mornings at 10.00 and again at 11.00, with seated Pilates on at mid day. Bridge is on Mondays at 1.30 and there is a beginner group. Go for Life is on each Tuesday at noon.
Acrylics is on Wednesday mornings at 9.30 and Watercolours is on 12-2.00. Music and Movement is on at 12.45 on Wednesday for the next 4 weeks. Singing for Fun is a members lead group of people who just want to reap the benefits of singing for the mind and body. It has resumed on Thursdays at 2.00.
Yoga takes place on Fridays with floor yoga at 11.00 and seated yoga at 12.00. Woodwork takes place on Fridays at 1.00. The venue for all classes is the Multyfarnham Community Centre. It is very helpful to let folks know that you are coming.

Bowls takes place in the gym hall on Thursdays for 5 weeks at 2.30. The Active Retirement Ireland National Bowls competition is in the Gleneagle Hotel, Killarney on November 17 for 4 nights. BMB Active hopes to send 2 teams to represent this club, giving a momentum and something to work towards.
Continues every Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 10.30 and Saturday at 11.00. Pickleball can also be enjoyed on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7.00. Pickleball is played on 4 courts in Multyfarnham Community Centre. Multyfarnham Pickleball will be entering a team in the ‘Team Championships 2025’. This will take place in Multyfarnham Community Centre on Sunday, October 12th. If you would like to try out for a place, please text Cassandra on 0892355960. Anyone over 18 years can apply and teams consist of men and women.
Ballinafid Multyfarnham Social Services have resumed Friday evening Bingo. This will be held this Friday September 26 at 3.30 in Murtagh’s Multyfarnham. All are welcome and light refreshments will be served.

Congratulations to Scarecrow Festival and Multyfarnham Country Markets
There was great colour and excitement for the Scarecrow Festival that took place on Sunday September 21 in Gaine Park in the glorious sunshine. Well done to overall winners Dessie Greene, Multyfarnham Men’s Shed, Rathganny Children Centre, BMB Active member Mary Daly, and many other winners and participants. We are already looking forward to next year’s event.
