Sharon offers thanks to those who helped with fundraiser

Sharon Scally has thanked everyone who helped her organised a benefit night at Gonoud’s Bar Tyrrellspass in July, as she handed over the funds raised to LARCC.

Neil Moran and Stillhouse provided music, supported by Paddy Geraghty, for a packed house, and Joe Daly was brilliant as MC for the night.

Sharon wishes to thank everyone who contributed in any way to the success of the night – everyone who donated, bought raffle tickets and donated spot prizes for the raffle.

Your support is sincerely appreciated by all, she said. She had special thanks for the musicians and MC, and “fabulous hosts” Trevor Gonoud and all the staff for their help on the night, and for the use of their venue.

Bernie McHugh of LARCC said she was in awe at this huge amount of money raised by Sharon on the night and thanked her and everyone that made the fundraiser possible, stating that donations like this from successful fundraisers help to keep the doors open at LARCC, and help raise the profile of the charity and the work being done for cancer patients and their families at the Centre in Multyfarnham.

LARCC provides essential counselling, therapies and nurse support to cancer patients and their family members, including children supports.
