Mullingar RFC centenary film now free to watch online

Mullingar Rugby Football Club mark 100 years of rugby this week with the release of their official centenary film, a volunteer-led project more than two years in the making.

The film, ‘100 Years of Mullingar Rugby’, tells the story of club from 1925 to the thriving community of today.

Featuring past players, current members, local families, and volunteers, it tells the story of how rugby in Mullingar has shaped generations, on and off the pitch.

Club president Ciaran Murtagh said: “This film reflects the true heart of Mullingar rugby, our people. For 100 years, Mullingar RFC have been built by volunteers, players, and families who give their time, passion, and pride freely.

“This is their story, and it belongs to everyone who has worn the scarlet and grey.”

Produced entirely by club volunteers, the film was led by Noel McIntyre, with support from John Keane, Declan Murphy, and a production team who spent more than two years gathering stories, footage, and memories.

To support the next 100 years of rugby in Mullingar, the club invite supporters to take part in the Your Club Your Country draw. Every ticket helps fund youth development, facilities, and the volunteer programmes that keep local rugby thriving.
