To kick-off the new series, the boys are joined by former champion jockey Davy Russell, the unpredictable stand-up comic Russell Kane, a game of dating or related on the streets of Laois, Rose of Tralee Katelyn Cummins pops into the bar to judge a special Lock In ‘talent competition’ and Dan McCabe sings a special version of his hit Grace.
Unreported World (CH4, Friday 24th, 7.30pm)
This internationally renowned foreign affairs programme marks its 25th anniversary, reflecting on a track record of propelling foreign journalism to worldwide audiences. This opening episode centres on a country plagued by femicide and inequality, but where a new figurehead – South Africa’s Slay Queens – has become both idolised and condemned. Unreported World investigates what happens when beauty, status, and survival collide.
Fleadh Cheoil (RTÉ 1, Friday 24th, 8pm)
Showcasing the best of Irish traditional music from Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2025 in Wexford. Across six episodes, viewers are taken on a lively ramble through the historic town, guided Dáithí Ó Sé and acclaimed musician Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh. Together, they meet a host of locally and internationally renowned musicians, including Michael Flatley.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon (Sky Max, Friday 24th, 9pm)
Returning for its third and penultimate season in an episode titled Costa Da Morte, Daryl and Carol struggle through the Channel Tunnel to a devastated London as they try to reconnect with their loved ones. But the journey only takes them even further away – this time across the seas to an even more infected southern Europe.
Coming Home: Stories of Being Chinese in Ireland (RTÉ 1, Sunday 26th, 7.30pm)
Yentl Ho lives in Ballina, County Mayo, and describes herself as a sound healing practitioner and a Ballina woman through and through. Born in Dublin to Chinese parents, Yentl spent the first five years of her life in Hong Kong with her beloved grandmother. She describes standing out, fitting in and a life journey that made no sense at all.

Welcome To Derry (Sky Atlantic, Monday 27th, 9pm)
Based on the 1986 novel IT by Stephen King, Welcome to Derry is a series that pictures small town America in the 1960s – before the terrifying clown Pennywise, played by Bill Skarsgard, wreaked havoc. “Do you think somebody could kidnap a kid and keep him underground? In the sewers?” It’s the question that has plagued Derry residents for decades, as the town’s young kids try to get answers.

A period drama set during the Hundred Years War that explores the frailty of medieval justice and the strength and courage of one woman willing to stand alone in the service of truth. Based on actual events, the film unravels France’s last sanctioned duel, between Jean de Carrouges and Jacques Le Gris, two friends turned bitter rivals.

For the season that’s in it, a true classic of the horror genre. After six-year-old Michael Myers brutally murdered his 17-year-old sister, he was sentenced and locked away. A House Of Dynamite (Netflix)
It all begins with an unidentified missile heading for Chicago. Where did it come from? Who set the attack in motion? Are there more to follow? It’s a plotline that echoes the first series of The Young Offenders. Harlan Coben’s Lazarus (Amazon Prime)
Based on an idea by author Harlan Coben, the plot follows Joel Lazarus (Sam Claflin), who returns home after his father Dr Jonathan Lazarus (Bill Nighy) dies by suicide – only to begin having disturbing experiences that can’t be explained. He quickly becomes entangled in a series of cold-case murders as he grapples with the mystery of his father’s death and his sister’s murder 25 years ago.
