Atlantic Care team host coffee morning for hospice this week

What will be on offer at the coffee morning at the Atlantic Care offices in Mullingar next Friday will taste all the better because it’s in support of such a worthy cause.

The event was initially planned for September 25, the day of the Bewley’s Big Coffee Morning for Hospice, the annual fundraiser, but illness among the team meant it had to be postponed.

It will now go ahead on Friday, October 31, and everyone is invited to drop in to the office at 8 Oliver Plunkett Street.

Mick Garvin, the regional manager of Atlantic Care Midlands: "We will hold the event in partnership with North Westmeath Hospice, and we’ll have lovely coffee, tea, buns, treats on the morning. We will also have a collection bucket here for people to make donations.

"Hopefully we’ll see lots of faces and people will come in, just to see what we’re about and have chat and get to know us – everybody was welcome."
