Horseleap dancer wins British Open Championships

Bláithín Stenson, an award winning dancer from The Emerald Lakes Academy in Rochfortbridge, has achieved further success by winning the British Open Championships held recently in Banbury.

A recent graduate of St Joseph’s Secondary School, Rochfortbridge, where she completed her Leaving Certificate in June, Bláithín is now taking her talents to the international stage.

She is currently touring professionally in Germany with the acclaimed Anglo Irish Productions Irish dance show, ‘Dancemasters’.

Bláithín’s dedication, artistry, and passion for dance have earned her recognition both at home and abroad, and her recent success marks another proud moment for her local community in Horseleap and for her dance school.
