As we celebrate the Jubilee Year of Hope, a special 40 Hours of Eucharistic Adoration will take place in the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar, from Friday November 21 to Sunday November 23, concluding on the Solemnity of Christ the King.

Adoration will begin after Mass on Friday 21st at 7.30pm and conclude at 4pm with sung Vespers and Benediction on Sunday 23rd, with Bishop Alan McGuckian, SJ, Bishop of Down and Connor, as homilist.

There will be confessions from noon until midnight on Saturday November 22.

Each parish within the new Pastoral Areas in the Diocese has been invited to spend one hour in Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament.

Everyone is invited to take part in this diocesan pilgrimage of prayer, praying for vocations, for families preparing for the Sacraments, and for peace in our world.
