Decision due on Mullingar Shamrocks pitch planning application

Planners at Westmeath County Council are due to make a decision on a Mullingar Shamrocks planning application for three all weather pitches.

The pitch development is part of the club's ambitious expansion plans at Robinstown, Mullingar, Westmeath.

The application to Westmeath County Council also includes details for the installation of associated flood lighting, ball stop nets and dugouts, as well as a new walking track with flood lighting.

Permission is also being sought for a new entrance from the Robinstown Road. The application, which was made in November 2024, has been listed as due for decision within the next week on the local authority's planning site.
