Taylor Swift has earned herself a fifth week at number one with her single The Fate Of Ophelia, according to the Official Charts Company.

However, Ms Swift’s album The Life Of A Showgirl has been knocked off the top spot in the album chart by Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds Of Summer, who secured their fourth number one album with Everyone’s A Star.

British singer Olivia Dean’s The Art Of Loving claimed an eighth week in the top five at number two, with Swift’s The Life Of A Showgirl in third place.

British hip hop collective D-Block Europe reached number four with their album PTSD 2, while Sabrina Carpenter’s album Man’s Best Friend is at number five.

Meanwhile, following a special 25th anniversary re-issue, Oasis’s Familiar To Millions live record has rebounded back up the album chart to number 11.

The recording of their famous 2000 Wembley Stadium gig also tops this week’s Official Vinyl Albums Chart.

In the singles chart, Golden by Huntr/x from the animated fantasy film KPop Demon Hunters is in second place behind Ms Swift, while Raye’s Where Is My Husband is enjoying a fifth week at number three.

Ms Dean’s So Easy (To Fall In Love) has reached number four, while another of her singles, A Couple Minutes, also achieved a new best this week at number 13.

And the charts show signs that the festive season is drawing closer, with Last Christmas by Wham! at number 19, followed by Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas Is You at 22 and Brenda Lee’s Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree at 38.
