Midlands 103 breakfast presenter Peter Dunne launches Bad Dad Gag Book as fundraiser for ACT Accessible Counselling

Midlands 103 breakfast presenter Peter Dunne has officially launched the Bad Dad Gag Book, a limited-edition collection of groan-worthy dad jokes submitted by listeners from across the midlands, as a fundraiser for ACT Accessible Counselling.

The book, packed listener-favourite puns, one-liners, and brilliantly bad gags, has been produced free of charge by local printing specialists Print Plus, who also provided design support for the project.

The team at Print Plus generously donated their services to help maximise funds raised for the charity.

The Bad Dad Gag Book is available now to order online at midlands103.com, at just €5 (not including postage). Copies are strictly limited edition, and demand is high in the run-up to Christmas.

All proceeds will go directly to ACT, a community-based counselling service offering affordable, accessible mental health support for people across the midlands. The organisation provides a safe, welcoming, purpose-built environment where individuals can access professional counselling when they need it most.

Peter said: “This book started as a bit of fun with our listeners and has grown into something really special. Midlands humour is unmatched and now it’s all in one place!

“We wanted to take that laughter and do something meaningful with it, especially during Men’s Health Month.

“Huge thanks to Print Plus for making this possible, and to every listener who contributed a joke. It’s a perfect stocking filler and supports a fantastic local service.”
