Multyfarnham Christmas lights and Christmas market
Ballinafid Multyfarnham Bunbrosna Active notes
On Saturday, December 6, at 6 Multyfarnham Community Development officially turned on the Christmas lights on the village green. It is a community venture enjoyed by young and old and everyone in between.
Christmas carols under the stars provided atmospheric serenade-the countdown as children sipped hot chocolates and festive snacks. Thankfully, the weather was mild, misty, and forgiving, as it had been inhospitable prior to the event. Thanks to the volunteers from the Multyfarnham Men’s Shed and Tidy Towns for their help.
On Sunday, December 7, Multyfarnham Community Centre was the venue for seasonal shopping and socialising. There was an array of local organic produce and crafts available from 11 o’clock till 2 in the afternoon.
Do you sing or play an instrument. Perhaps, like me, you like-listen and sing along. Whatever your preference, not join in the BMB Active sing along each 2 each Wednesday in Rathowen. See you there.
