Mullingar supermarket plan approved

An application by a major Mullingar supermarket to make alterations to their service yard has been approved by local authority planners.

Tesco Ireland Ltd made the application for the construction of a sheltered canopy over three dedicated van parking spaces in the existing service yard and all ancillary site services and site development works. The retailer made the application for the service yard at Tesco Shopping Centre, Ashe Road, Mullingar in November. Westmeath County Council granted the application this week subject to one condition.
