Approval for Loughnavalley GAA plan for clubhouse

An application by Loughnavalley GAA Club to develop a new clubhouse has been approved by Westmeath County Council planners. The club lodged plans to construct a new 135.8 square metre clubhouse last August.

The proposed building will include an accessible bathroom, a kitchen and a storeroom. The application also covers all associated site works.

It is noted in the application that Loughnavalley GAA Club falls within the curtilage of a protected structure, Togherstown House at Lalistown, Loughnavalley.

The planners have attached seven conditions to the approved plans relating to parking, electric vehicle charging, and water and waste water consideration.
