Six Westmeath makers to exhibit at Showcase
Six craft and design businesses from Westmeath will be among hundreds of exhibitors at Showcase, Ireland’s International Creative Expo, at the RDS in January.
Showcase runs from Sunday January 18 to Tuesday January 20, bringing together Ireland’s leading designers, makers and creative brands in what is regarded as the country’s largest annual trade event for craft and design.
The Westmeath exhibitors confirmed for the event are Magdalena Weber Studio, STÓR, TED 1942, Martin Langton Furniture, Meab Enamels, and Mullingar Pewter / Silver Spirit.
Presented by Design and Crafts Council Ireland, with support from the Department of Trade, Enterprise and Employment, Enterprise Ireland and the Local Enterprise Offices, the event attracts buyers from Ireland and overseas and is seen as a key commercial platform for Irish makers.
The 2026 theme, Making Irish Stories, will focus on the narratives behind the work of designers and craftspeople from across the island, highlighting how landscape, heritage, community and innovation influence their collections.
A total of 385 exhibitors are expected to take part, and organisers predict close to 4,000 visitors over the three days. More than 100 brands will be exhibiting for the first time, alongside well established names from across the Irish craft and design sector.
Showcase, which was established in 1975 as the National Craft Fair, has grown into a major international trade show, welcoming buyers from Europe, North America and the Middle East. The event acts as an international launch pad for new season collections across fashion, jewellery, wellbeing, home and giftware.
The 2026 programme will again include the Inspiration Stage, featuring expert talks and trend insights, a curated fashion show presenting Irish designer looks, and the Showcase Awards, which recognise excellence in craftsmanship, design and innovation. Attendance at Showcase is trade only, and buyers are required to register in advance.
