Collinstown pool and darts proves a great success
The annual darts and pool tournaments in the Lough Lene Inn, Collinstown, on December 27 was a wonderful success, with a great turnout and a relaxed atmosphere.
Noel Conaty emerged as the winner of the pool competition and runner-up was Dan Beegan. The winner of the darts competition on the night was Brian McGuinness and runner-up was Brian Farrelly.
Rian Gilhooley won the junior competition and runner-up was Emmet Devine.
Music entertainment from singer Davy Rudden followed the action. Delicious pizzas were served, some of which were kindly donated from Emri’s takeaway in Collinstown village.
Thanks to all who supported, volunteered at the event & to those who bought raffle tickets. Prizes from the raffle went to: David Hennessey, Sandra Coplen, Tara Costello, Eileen Conaty and Lucy Nolan.

All proceeds from the night were in aid of St. Mary’s National School, Collinstown.
St Mary’s Parents Association would also like to say a huge thanks to Martin Kelly Snr and Jnr, to Dan and Brian for setting up the competitions, and to David and Louise in the Lough Lene Inn for hosting this wonderful evening for our school and community.
