Snooker success for Heffernan

Mullingar Snooker Club

Just before Christmas, St Mary's Snooker Club, Mullingar, held a sponsored tournament where Niall Heffernan defeated Mark Yeats 2-0.

It was a tournament that had to be rescheduled due to Niall injuring his back. Pat Donohoe, Tournament Director and scorer for the final, and Richie Toal, Snooker and Billiards Ireland qualified referee, took charge of the final. The club is very grateful to Niall Dunne of the Chambers Bar, Mount Street, Mullingar, for sponsoring this event.
