Father Ted night at Belvedere House later this month
Belvedere House, Gardens and Park is bringing laughs to Westmeath this January with a unique comedy event celebrating the cult classic Father Ted.
On Friday January 16 at 8pm, audiences are invited to an evening of stand-up comedy and classic Craggy Island antics featuring Joe Rooney (Father Damo) and Patrick McDonnell (Eoin McLove) in a Father Ted comedy night.
The event promises humour and nostalgia for fans of all ages. Attendees are encouraged to dress as their favourite Father Ted character, and there is a prize for the best costume on the night.
Tickets are priced at €30 plus booking fee; with doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
“This is a first for Belvedere having a comedy night and we hope to have both Father Ted fans and comedy fans on the night,” said Liam Glynn of Belvedere House. “Don’t be left disappointed as it’s looking like a sell-out – a comedy night is a great way to get rid of those January blues. Go on, go on, go on, you know you want to come to see Father Damo and Eoin McLove at Belvedere!”
With February still a way off and January traditionally a slower month for social events, this night of laughs is timed to lift spirits after the festive season.
Belvedere House’s gardens and historic surroundings will offer a memorable backdrop for what’s shaping up to be a must-see comedy night.
