Brownstown drama set to dazzle with Time to Shine

Excitement is building in Brownstown as the local drama group prepares to lift the curtain on its 33rd annual variety show, ‘Time to Shine’. This year’s production promises an unforgettable blend of music, comedy, and high energy performances, showcasing more than 90 talented participants ranging from junior infants to adults.

The show is directed and produced by Mairéad O’Rourke, who is working with co-producer and choreographer Paula Cox and musical director Brendan Leavy. Together, they’ve crafted a fast-paced, feel-good spectacle that’s guaranteed to entertain audiences of all ages.

The stage will come alive with iconic hits from Queen, Hairspray, Lady Gaga, Westlife, Wicked, Britney Spears, and Taylor Swift. Younger stars will charm the crowd with vibrant numbers from Trolls, The Jungle Book, and Camp Rock, promising plenty of heartwarming moments throughout the show.

With standout dance routines, beloved classics, and laugh out loud comedy sketches, Time to Shine offers something for everyone.
