Two Mullingar firms on 2026 shortlist for Spider awards

Mullingar-based Social Media Elite has been shortlisted for the Best Collaboration Award, and Danielle Collins of ICON Management, also based in Mullingar, is shortlisted for the new Digital Rising Star Award at the 2026 Spider Awards.

The shortlist for was announced this week for the event’s 29th year. The ceremony is on Friday March 13 in the Round Room at the Mansion House, Dublin.

Social Media Elite is shortlisted in the Best Collaboration Award category for its work with KASH Beauty, placing the Mullingar agency among leading digital and creative firms. Danielle Collins’ nomination in the newly introduced Digital Rising Star Award highlights emerging talent within Ireland’s digital industry and recognises individuals shaping its future.

Established in 1996, the Spider Awards celebrate innovation, creativity and excellence in the digital sector. Organisers confirmed a 30% increase in entries compared with 2025, reflecting continued growth and ambition within the industry.

This year’s most competitive categories include Best in Social Media, Best Consumer Campaign, Best in Storytelling and Digital for Good, pointing to a strong emphasis on creativity, impact and purpose-led digital work. The introduction of the Digital Rising Star Award is one of the major highlights of the 2026 programme.
