Charter Medical Private Hospital launches wellbeing programme
The Mullingar based Charter Medical Private Hospital (CMPH) has officially launched CMPH CARES - Wellbeing at Work, a new organisation-wide employee wellbeing programme
The initiative recognises that staff wellbeing is essential to delivering quality patient care and reflects CMPH’s ongoing commitment to its employees.
The launch coincides with International Employee Appreciation Day, which takes place on Friday, March 6.
CMPH CARES is built around a structured five-pillar framework focused on connection and community, accountability for wellbeing, resilience and mental health, empowerment and engagement, and support and sustainability.
Together, these pillars provide a clear and practical approach to embedding wellbeing into everyday working life at CMPH, offering support, visibility of resources, departmental Wellbeing Champions, ongoing engagement initiatives, and a strong commitment to listening and responding to staff feedback.
Sinéad Geraghty, Chief Operations Officer, Charter Medical Private Hospital, said: “At CMPH, we recognise that wellbeing is a shared responsibility. CMPH CARES – Wellbeing at Work demonstrates our commitment to supporting staff in a meaningful and structured way. The launch reinforces CMPH’s belief that when staff feel supported and valued, the hospital community thrives. By aligning the launch with Employee Appreciation Day, we are proudly recognising the dedication, compassion and professionalism of our teams, who deliver exceptional care every day.”
To celebrate the launch, employees gathered at The Cup restaurant, where they met members of the wellbeing committee and wellbeing champions.
CMPH CARES - Wellbeing at Work is available on the employee portal and will serve as a central point for information, resources and updates as the programme continues to evolve.
