Tús Maith le ‘Gaeilge Curious’ sessions

The first in a series of Sunday afternoon ‘Gaeilge Curious’ Sessions took place in Cullion on Sunday last. While the attendance was small, it was enjoyable for those who were there.

The next session takes place on Sunday next at 3pm and it was agreed that an effort would be made to encourage at least another 10 people to come along. These sessions are open to all so no matter where you live you are welcome to attend. The Eircode for the venue is: N91HR90.

Over recent years, it has been widely commented that there is a resurgence in the number of people who are interested in using and learning the ‘Cúpla Focail’. Sunday’s attendance certainly bore testament to that. Bhí suim láidir ag na daoine a bhí ann.

Those who came along did so out of curiosity so they were obviously ‘Gaeilge Curious’. Some people had lots of ‘focail’ but most were only dipping their toes in the ‘uisce’. It was wonderful to see people willing to give it a go and encouraging others to do so too.

No matter where you are from if you have time to spare feel free to come along. Ní bheidh brú ort agus you will enjoy the chat whether it is trí Béarla nó trí Gaeilge.
