The Coláiste Mhuire Junior soccer side was crowned West Leinster Division 1 League champions after a superb 5-0 victory over St Mel’s, Longford, at Moate Business College pitch on Thursday.
There were outstanding performances right across the pitch with brilliant skill, work rate and determination on display. Goals from Cathal Kilmurray, Nathan O’Reilly, Scott Farrelly and a fantastic double from Hugo Corroon sealed a memorable win.
The Coláiste Mhuire side now march on to the Leinster quarter-finals - exciting times ahead for another team in the school.
