Muriel at 100: a life filled with love and grace
Muriel Ray, who celebrates her 100th birthday this week, was born on March 11, 1926, and has spent her life living in Hopestown, Mullingar. Muriel is know for her beautiful personality, filled with love, humour, thoughtfulness, gentleness and wisdom.
Muriel’s humanity has touched countless people over the years, a humanity grounded in God’s Grace and Love, and her gracefulness ensures her presence is always delightful.
Everyone adores Muriel and the respect, admiration and affection in which she is held is testimony to her greatness.
Muriel has been a long-standing parishioner and valued member of the Church of Ireland community all her life, attending the churches of All Saints Church, Mullingar, where she was a member of the choir for many years, and Kilbixy Church, near Ballynacargy. Muriel also enjoyed attending whist drives and was a regular winner, as she is an accomplished card player.
All who know Muriel are blessed to do so, and pray God will continue to bless her with good health and happiness and with His Love and Grace.
