Diecast and toy show returns to the Mullingar this Sunday
The Mullingar Diecast and Toy Show returns to the Mullingar Park Hotel on Sunday, April 12.
This is the second visit of the show to Mullingar.
Last year it raised more than €8,000 for Crumlin Hospital (Children’s Health Foundation).
Alan Meredith, one of the organisers, along with Jarleth Ennis Snr and Jarleth Ennis Jnr, said: “We do this to raise money for the Cancer unit in Crumlin, something close to our hearts and everyone that has had to attend any children’s hospital.
"The work they do is amazing. My son Ben Meredith has been through a journey and has come out the far side, now living his best life as DJ Mëro, gigging all over the world at 21 years old.”
More than 100 collectors and traders, and more than 1000 visitors, are expected on Sunday to enjoy displays of diecast models, vintage toys, collectibles, and more.
Entry is €10 (U14s free) and proceeds after costs go to the charity.
Alan is grateful for the support of Josephine Hughes and Matt O’Connor at the Mullingar Park Hotel.
