County matchplay

We were the hosts for the county matchplay last Saturday and Sunday. The course was in immaculate condition. The improvement in weather conditions is a great help.

Veronica Clarke reached the ladies semi-finals. The event was won by Sinead Lynam from Rochfortbridge.

The gents junior went to the very promising Enda Malone of Custume. Inter honours went to Shane Kinahan of Lough Owel while Mark Newman of Rochfortbridge won the senior title. Well done to all. Thanks to Kathleen and Lil for the refreshments throughout the weekend.

Friday through to Sunday we host the above scotch foursomes in honour of one of our founder members. This competition is kindly sponsored by the Gorman family. Hopefully the weather continues to be good and we get a good attendance.
