Paul Sherwood PhotographerCharter Medical Private Hospital (CMPH) in Mullingar is proud to announce that it has been honoured with a Healthy Ireland Award, which recognises its ongoing commitment to creating a healthier, more supportive workplace for all employees.
This recognition forms part of the national Healthy Workplace Programme, delivered under Ireland’s Healthy Workplace Framework and which the Mullingar based hospital is part of.
The award is presented to organisations which demonstrate a clear, strategic and evidence-based approach to employee wellbeing.
The distinction is part of the first phase of the Healthy Workplace Programme, which has taken place over the past 15 months with organisations from across the public, private, and voluntary sectors.
This nationwide initiative highlights the critical role workplaces play, acknowledging that positive work environments are essential not only for employees but also for organisational success and long-term sustainability.
This achievement reflects a collective effort across the Charter Medical Private Hospital Team, with particular recognition to the HR team for its leadership in advancing wellbeing initiatives.
The programme was led by Jessica Farrell, HR Manager; Orlaith Martin, HR Business Partner; and Anna Garvey, HR Administrator.
Their efforts are reflected in a range of initiatives supporting both physical and mental health in the hospital, which currently employs over 300 clinical, administrative and support staff.
Paula Gray, CEO of Charter Medical Private Hospital, Mullingar, said, “This award is a testament to the enthusiasm and commitment of our entire team.
“Our wellbeing journey continues to evolve, and this award highlights the meaningful progress we have made together.
“I would like to pay particular tribute to our HR team for leading this important project.”
Tom Byrne, Chairman, Charter Medical Private Hospital, was present in accepting the award alongside members of the HR team.
