International Show returns to Mullingar Equestrian Centre

With a substantial prize fund of €175,000, Mullingar International Show – at Mullingar Equestrian Centre from May 22 to June 1 – is a key fixture on the Irish showjumping calendar.

The show has long been recognised as a springboard for athletes progressing to the highest levels of international competition and numerous success stories have emerged from the show in recent years.

The show also offers a platform for Ireland’s top pony riders to showcase their talents through the popular Mullingar ‘Pony Masters’, sponsored by Showjumping Ireland and Ballynegall Feeds.

Ireland’s excellence in pony showjumping was recently highlighted by the national pony team’s victory in the Nations Cup in Belgium, where Ted Fagan from Mullingar also won the Pony Grand Prix against top European competition.

Mullingar International Show provides a significant economic benefit to the local economy. It attracts approximately 10,000 visitors to the area over the two weeks and they support hotels, restaurants, and businesses in the town, generating an estimated €1 million for the area.

In support of the show, Mullingar Equestrian is inviting local businesses to participate in its unique sponsorship initiative. Businesses can sponsor a branded brick on the Sponsors Wall, displayed prominently outside the International Arena, for €100, and there is the option of sponsoring as many bricks as they like.

That offers valuable exposure to businesses, as branding is featured on-site as well as across digital platforms throughout the event – visit our website mullingarequestrian.com for more details.

Admission is free and spectators are welcome to Mullingar Equestrian Centre throughout the show to enjoy top-class Irish showjumping and experience the thrilling atmosphere.

With a fantastic food village onsite, Mullingar International Show makes a perfect family day out.

Feature events include the Puissance at 6.30pm on Sunday May 31 and the Mullingar International Grand Prix at 3pm on Monday June 1.
