Mullingar Lions Club launch 2026 mid-Summer Ball

Preparations are now in full swing for Lions Club Annual Mid-Summers Ball. Now in its fifth year and generously sponsored by David Symth Catering everyone is eagerly looking forward to a great night out on Friday, June 19, in the Village Barn Tyrrellspass.

In conjunction with their family support program Mullingar Lions Club initiated a very special project in 2023 “to provide direct and immediate support to families and young people with Autism and Additional Needs”.

When services are broken, inaccessible or delayed, the Lions Club provide valuable respite care and educational support, day trips and time out for parents. Funding for assessment and counselling is also provided.

Currently this support is of enormous benefit to many families on a weekly basis where the Lions Club annual spend is approximately €50,000. They are very committed to developing this project further in 2026.

With an auction and raffle taking place on the night to also raise valuable funds, a great nights entertainment is assured.
