Ray Geoghegan takes reins at Mullingar Athletic AFC
Mullingar Athletic AFC is delighted to announce the appointment of Ray Geoghegan as head coach of the club's senior men's first team.
Ray brings over two decades of coaching experience to the role and is widely regarded as a leading football development coach.
A UEFA B Licensed Coach, Ray has played a significant role in developing young players through his work with the Real Football Academy and more recently within Mullingar Athletic AFC as the clubs SSG coaching coordinator for the past two seasons.
The club is also pleased to confirm the appointment of Kevin ‘Hagi’ Keegan and Robbie O'Dowd as assistant coaches.
Club secretary Paul Murray commented: "We are thrilled with Ray's appointment as our new senior men’s head coach.
"His passion for player development, knowledge of the game and vision for the future make him an excellent fit for Mullingar Athletic.
"Alongside Kevin and Robbie, we believe we have assembled a coaching team capable of driving the club forward both on and off the pitch."
As preparations begin for the new season, the club expect to make further announcements regarding additional appointments to further strengthen our coaching and backroom team.
"In the meantime, we warmly welcome Ray, Kevin and Robbie to the senior men's coaching team."
