Pilates N91 hosting series of fundraising events for Breast Cancer Awareness Week

Pilates N91 in Mullingar is hosting a series of fundraising, wellness and awareness events starting (Friday October 16 to Friday October 23), when all proceeds are going to Breast Cancer Ireland.

Throughout the week, all classes at Pilates N91 will be donation-only, allowing participants to book as many or as few classes as they wish, with no payment required at the time of booking.

Donations can be made through a link on the studio’s Instagram page, and supporters may donate anonymously if they prefer.

The message behind the initiative is simple: every donation, no matter how big or small, can make a difference.

The programme begins on Friday, October 16, with a Soul Circle led by Laura. The session will include meditation, intention-setting and a symbolic ritual focused on letting go of what no longer serves us, followed by cacao.

On Saturday, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a sauna session at the Core Club, with the support of Darragh and Damon of Dynamic Performance.

Sunday, October 18, will feature a breast cancer awareness and information morning at 12.30pm, when Marie from Westmeath Hospice and other speakers will share information and insights.

The morning will be followed by a Pilates and Lattes session at 1.30pm, led by N91 instructor Ailbhe. The programme will conclude on Friday October 23, with a donation-only yoga class at Pilates N91 at 7pm, led by Noelle.

The team at N91 hope the week will offer more than just a fundraising opportunity, and will create a space for people to connect, learn and show their support for those affected by breast cancer.

Jill said: “We really want this to be a week of coming together as a community, raising awareness and supporting such an important cause.

“We want everyone to feel welcome, whether they come on their own, bring a friend or take part in one event or several.

“Every donation, big or small, matters, and knowing that all proceeds will go to Breast Cancer Ireland makes this initiative particularly meaningful to us.”

The studio has expressed its sincere thanks to all the instructors, local businesses and contributors who have volunteered their time and helped bring the initiative together.

Members of the public are encouraged to get involved, attend a class or event and support the fundraising effort.

Class bookings are through Wunderbook, and donation details are available via the Pilates N91 Instagram page.
