Mullingar Coffee Morning fetches vital support for Cian’s Kennels
A heart-warming community fundraiser is taking over at Typo Coffee this afternoon, as locals gathered at the St Loman’s GAA grounds to support the vital work of Cian’s Kennels.
The special coffee morning, which will run up to 3:00pm, successfully blends community spirit, caffeine, and canine companionship.
Attendees have the unique opportunity to visit a dedicated information tent and meet the voluntary team behind the charity. The absolute highlight of the afternoon will be the arrival of several therapy dogs, who will happily greet supporters of all ages outside the cafe.
Set up in memory of teenager Cian Neary, Cian’s Kennels brings immense comfort to hospitalised children by facilitating visits with their own beloved family pets during treatment.
The charity recently expanded its meaningful impact locally by launching Ireland’s first mobile pet therapy service at the Regional Hospital Mullingar.
Organisers expressed deep gratitude to the Mullingar community for the strong turnout so far.
For those who will miss the event but still wish to contribute to bringing joy to sick children, digital donations remain open through the official Cian’s Kennels website.
