Scam calls and texts

Beware of scam calls, texts and fake house callers. Be extra careful about sophisticated scams. Scam calls are getting more sophisticated, but banks, tax office, HSE, Revenue, garda, Amazon, will not text you or call you and ask you for any passwords or PINs. Be aware of text messages from what look like legitimate companies. Always ring the company/service first before you act. Fake door-to-door callers may come calling on you. Be vigilant and never let them gain access to your home unless you are certain of who they are. Don’t be afraid to ask for ID.

You might see an item of clothing in the wardrobe suitable for spring or summer, you may find clothes that need altering. Also are you looking at changing curtains, cushions for summer but discover they are in need of altering? Talk to dressmaker Ewa on Monday mornings at 10.30pm. A staff member can also help you.
