Gardaí investigating public order incident on Patrick Street

Gardaí are investigating an incident near the Patrick Street area of Mullingar, where a man had been arrested following a public order incident on Wednesday.

A statement from the Garda Press Office confirmed the incident: “Gardaí responded to an incident that occurred at approximately 2.30pm on Wednesday, 4 June in Mullingar.

“A man aged in his 30s was arrested in connection with the incident and has since been released without charge. A file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.”
