Clodagh Heavin from Moate has entered her dog, Chip, to be the Westmeath entrant in the 2025 Nose of Tralee Pet Competition, and she is asking for votes.
The citation for Chip reads:
‘Chip would make a fabulous Nose of Tralee as he has recently been adopted and has come on leaps and bounds! Hes the sweetest and most gentle soul!
‘He had a rough start as many dogs do, but his resilience and strength has allowed him to settle into his forever home after only 6 weeks!
‘Chip is a constant loyal companion and loves nothing more than to run through the fields and then snooze with his favourite teddy.
‘He has brought so much joy, but also support in a time a really needed Chip to come into my life!’
