Rita Phillips

The late Mrs. Rita Phillips who died on March 5 last, was a native of Mayo, who moved with her family to Killare in 1971.Sadly bereaved by her husband Myles, and her daughter, Catherine, the latter years of Mrs. Phillips' life were spent in Boardstown, Mullingar, with her daughter Mary.Mrs. Philips had a long and active life, and was devoted to her family.She enjoyed many trips to New York and to Newcastle, England, where she spent time with her daughters and grandchildren. A passionate gardener, she enjoyed nature to the fullest.Mrs. Phillips passed away in Nursing home just hours after having celebrated her 88th birthday with family and friends.
