Willie Forde’s Eurospar Kinnegad received a Eurospar Customer First Programme Award, recognising its outstanding commitment to community-focused retailing. The award, one of the most respected in the grocery sector, celebrates excellence across the Eurospar network.
Three Spar stores in Westmeath were recognised at the 2025 Spar 365 Standards Customer Care Programme Awards, also held at the Killashee Hotel in Naas. The winning stores were West’s Spar Rochfortbridge (Damien West), Spar Corrib Oil Mullingar, and Spar Corrib Oil Ballymahon Road, Athlone.
Each store was independently assessed on customer service and food safety, and Spar sales director Colin Donnelly said the awards were “thoroughly deserved.”
Peter Dwan, Eurospar sales director, praised the Kinnegad team for exceeding customer expectations and showing leadership in retail.
