Lunchtime lecture on Royal Irish Academy archives

Westmeath Archaeological and Historical Society will host a lunchtime lecture as part of Heritage Week in Mullingar Library on Thursday next 21 August at 1pm.

RIA librarian Emma Rothwell will discuss the academy collections, with particular reference to the archives pertaining to Westmeath.

This lecture will be useful for all interested in our history and heritage, particularly as the WAHS will host two workshops in October on ‘doing local studies’. All welcome.
