‘I want them to have super big hair too!’

Luna White-Clinton, a seven-year-old girl from Mullingar, is donating her hair to Little Princess Trust, and running a fundraiser for the charity.

Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs to children who have lost their hair, either through cancer treatment or alopecia.

Luna has wanted to donate her hair for a long time, and has been growing it for months to help those in need.

After becoming aware that not all children are fortunate enough to keep their hair, Luna was determined to help.

Luna’s mother, Lauren, said: “Our hope is that a younger child gets Luna’s hair, and that we simply help someone feel better about themselves.

“I always just want Luna to know that she can make a difference, even if it’s just to one person.”

Luna said: “I want to do this because it is really nice for others, and I grew my hair long because I want them to have super big hair!”
