Now well into its second decade, the show hosted by Maura Derrane, Daithí O Sé and Sinéad Kennedy is back to brighten up afternoons with an eclectic mix of food, fashion, and entertainment – plus the latest headlines from home and abroad.
Romesh: Can’t Knock the Hustle (Sky Max, Wednesday 24th, 9pm)
Following on from his debut arena tour, Romesh Ranganathan embarks on an eye-opening mission across the world in his new travelogue series. The four-part series, introduced by Dame Emma Thompson, sees Romesh travel to India, USA, South Korea and Canada in a global exploration of our hustle-obsessed modern existence.
Brassic (Sky Max, Thursday 25th, 9pm)
After their near-death experience at the end of the last series, the gang have a new lease of life, grabbing each day by the horns. And with that kind of mindset, there’s no telling what trouble they’ll land in. This final series is a full-throttle farewell packed with everything fans love: lederhosen-fuelled escapades, school reunions gone wildly off the rails, and gangsters more unhinged than ever.
Long Bright River (RTÉ Player)
Amanda Seyfried plays Mickey Fitzpatrick, a police officer who patrols a Philadelphia neighbourhood hard-hit by the opioid crisis. A series of murders in her district appear connected to her personal history as Mickey suspects that a string of overdoses among sex workers may be homicides. And she fears for her own safety when someone seems to be following her…

The Walsh Sisters (RTÉ 1, Sunday 28th, 9.30pm)
A new six-part series based on Marian Keyes’s best-selling novels Rachel’s Holiday and Anybody Out There, following five sisters – Anna, Rachel, Claire, Maggie and Helen – as they navigate addiction, family crises, and the ties that hold them together. Each faces her own demons, as Anna confronts a profound personal crisis, Rachel is forced into rehab, Claire struggles to redefine herself as a single mother while Maggie is desperate to start a family of her own. Then there’s Helen, stoic and sharp on the outside – but hiding personal battles no one can see.

Blake inherits his remote childhood home in rural Oregon after his father mysteriously vanishes and is presumed dead. Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman play a billionaire and car mechanic who meet in the terminal ward at hospital, and make a pact to fulfil a few life ambitions before the grim reaper arrives. The bucket list begins when they escape the medical world to grasp the last great adventures of their lives.
Spin the Bottle (Sky Cinema Premiere, from Friday)
When a group of friends play spin the bottle in a house marked by a brutal massacre, they unknowingly unleash an evil spirit and start dying in terrifying ways. Trapped in a vortex of death, the survivors will have to stick together to uncover the dark secrets in the house and end the bloodshed.

Who We Love (RTÉ 1, Friday 26th, 11.15pm)
A film about coming of age and coming out, this tells the story of Lily and Simon, best friends who navigate the troubled waters of school life to explore Dublin’s vibrant and sometimes dark LGBTQ+ scene under the sharp eye of reluctant mentor Oonagh. When a misunderstanding leads to alarming repercussions, Lily faces the greatest challenge of her young life.

The Secret Life Of Boys (RTÉ 2, Wednesday 24th, 2.35pm)
Ginger Boxwell flies from Australia to the UK to spend the summer with four cousins she’s never met before – and worried how will she manage in a foreign country with a new family. What she doesn’t realise is that Matt, Robbie, Ethan and Chris are just as nervous about it as she is – boys with their own share of secrets.

The Ryder Cup 2025 (Sky Sports, Friday 26th to Sunday 28th, 9am)
The Ryder Cup is the world’s biggest and most hotly contested bi-annual golf competition. Luke Donald is Europe’s Ryder Cup captain, and Keegan Bradley leads Team USA at the Bethpage Black course in New York. Europe enter as defending champions after a brilliant 16.5 to 11.5 victory in Rome 2023, with Rory McIlroy having top-scored for the hosts. Against what will be a rabidly partisan American crowd, can Europe pull off another master stroke?
Women’s Rugby World Cup Final (RTÉ 2, Saturday 27th, 4pm)
Direct from Twickenham stadium, the final meeting of the two best women’s teams in the world. Increasingly attracting a bigger audience, this is rugby played as it should – fact running, clever tactics, and those individual moments of magic that we’ll be talking about for days.
