Motorcyclist taken to hospital after Rochfortbridge incident

Gardaí are investigatin a serious road traffic collision involving a car and a motorcycle that occurred at approximately 5.30pm on Saturday, 27 September, on Main Street, Rochfortbridge.

The motorcyclist, a male in his late 30s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Tullamore Hospital for treatment.

The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination and local traffic diversions are in place.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling through Rochfortbridge between 5:15pm and 5:45pm are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
