Open days at local stations for Fire Safety Week 2025
Westmeath Fire and Rescue Service personnel are hosting open days at their stations as part of Fire Safety Week 2025 (October 13-19).
Local firefighters will be in the Westmeath stations to share practical fire safety advice and answer queries people have in Kilbeggan and Athlone stations on Saturday October 4, and in Mullingar and Castlepollard stations on Saturday October 11.
The theme for Fire Safety Week 2025 is ‘Fire Safety in the Home’ and firefighters will have fire safety advice and presentations on the open days along with fire demonstrations, plus recruitment information and presentations for anyone interested in join Westmeath Fire and Rescue Service.
