One day only – Kia 261 preview event in Mullingar this week

Five new Kia models will be on display in the Mullingar showroom – for one day only – Wednesday of this week, October 29.

The event is at Sleator Kia in Lough Sheever Corporate Park, and the team there will welcome customers to view the EV5, the EV4 Fastback, the EV4, the K4 and the new Stonic, between 9am and 6pm.

The Kia Ireland vehicle range reflects the brand’s growing commitment to electrification, innovation, and consumer choice, as the manufacturer establishes itself as a leader in Ireland’s electric vehicle market.

The refreshed Kia EV6 now features an upgraded 84kWh battery capable of delivering up to 582 kilometres of range under the WLTP cycle.

With faster charging technology that allows a 10-to-80 percent top-up in around 18 minutes, the EV6 exemplifies the progress Kia has made in battery efficiency and usability.

Complementing it at the top of the line-up is the flagship SUV, the Kia EV9.

Offering up to 563 kilometres of range, three rows of seating, and striking futuristic styling, it demonstrates Kia’s ambition to compete at the premium end of the electric SUV market.

Looking ahead, 2026 will see Kia expand its Irish line-up further with the arrival of the PV5, part of its new ‘Platform Beyond Vehicle’ family. The PV5 signals Kia’s intention to diversify beyond traditional passenger cars, bringing flexibility and modular design to its range of electric models.

Despite the emphasis on full battery electric vehicles, Kia recognises that many Irish motorists still value hybrid options.

The popular Kia Sportage, for example, will continue to be offered in both hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants, ensuring that the brand’s 2026 range caters to a wide spectrum of driving needs.

Technology remains central to the Kia evolution. The latest models boast features such as dual curved 12.3-inch displays, over-the-air software updates, and enhanced driver-assistance systems. As these innovations become standard across the range, Kia continues to raise the bar for accessibility and sophistication in the Irish market.

With its proven seven-year warranty, expanding charging infrastructure, and a strong blend of range, value, and design, Kia’s 2026 line-up positions the brand as one of the most forward-thinking and customer-focused car makers in Ireland.
