Cool kids at St Kenny NS break ice with smartphone technology

Students from fourth class at St Kenny National School took advantage of last week’s freezing temperatures to take part in an impromptu photography activity, capturing the striking frosty scenes around the school grounds.

The pupils embraced the opportunity to experiment with the iPad cameras, showing impressive creativity as they explored different angles and focused on the small details revealed by the cold snap.

Their work was even shared by Met Éireann across their social media platforms, giving the class a great boost.

The activity reflects the school’s commitment to showing children the many positive and creative uses of technology, beyond playing games and watching videos.
